What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As I have always been among the top students in Mathematics during high school, I believed that it was fundamental that I helped those having difficulties. I truly believe that success in Mathematics is based on the understanding of basic mathematical concepts. As a result, I have always tried to pass this understanding that I developed to others. My favourite part of tutoring has always been the fact that I was helping others, enabling them to feel valued and make them love numbers as I do!
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As I was a high school student last year, I understand the feelings and perspectives of other students. I try to innovate the way other students can see mathematical concepts so that it is more easy to understand. I can also help them to develop revision methods, effective for them. Having been a top student in Mauritius during the last HSC examinations, I believe that I have developed some essential students' skills that I can passed to the students whom I am tutoring. Finally, my positive attitude and optimism are some of my key strengths that would enable me to thrive as a tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that a tutor should make a student feel understood. Students sometimes may feel that their teachers cannot understand their perspectives, so I believe that it is essential that the students feel heard and respected. I also believe that a tutor should help a student to feel valued and respected. This helps to boost the confidence of students to encourage them to do better, as well as can help to develop trust between the student and the tutor.
