What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Teaching has always been a big part of my life. Both of my brothers are in academia, one is a professor at UNSW and the other a lecturer at Cambridge, so I grew up surrounded by a love for learning and teaching. What I enjoy most is helping students reach that “aha” moment when a difficult concept suddenly makes sense. It’s rewarding to see their confidence grow as they start thinking independently and solving problems on their own.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strength is breaking down complex problems into simple, manageable steps that make sense to students. I’m patient, encouraging, and always try to start from what the student already understands. I also focus on developing problem-solving skills instead of just giving answers. With over two years of tutoring experience in Iran and volunteer work with UNSW’s Mathematics Society and Arc’s SHACK Tutoring program, I’ve learned how to adapt my approach to each student’s learning style.
