What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I most enjoy enabling students to overcome their difficulties with foundational concepts in order to truly see the enjoyment in mastering a complex subject, as this is what tutoring accomplished for me as a high school student. For example, trouble with foundational concepts often stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of the basics, therefore it is important to readdress the theory portion of the topic and provide detailed explanations, using tools such as diagrams or mnemonic devices to ensure information retention.
