What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

At this stage I do not do commercial tutoring... I do however teach at a High School. Over the past 5 years I have gained a range of skills and experience, teaching stages 4-6 in NSW schools. I have delivered programs and content that are outcome focused, and have used various teaching strategies to implement progress and success in my students. I believe education is the key to unlocking a brighter more initiative future. I enjoy working with all works of life and all abilities.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strength comes from working in lots of different learning settings and understanding how I can differentiate my students lessons to their learning needs. My high levels of interpersonal skills allow me to engage with my students and their passions... ultimately creating a love for learning. I do have the ability to Biology, Chemistry and Physics... but would regard myself as not an expert in these fields.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Implement creativity and a willingness to try is the most important skill a tutor can pass on to their students. Once a student builds a willingness to try and a need to challenge themselves, they will be more likely to build good habits and routines around creating these pathways for themselves. I always ask myself 'how do students learn' and 'how do I teach them'. This simply means that I am constantly reflective of my teaching craft, while being as formative in my approach.
