Hey, I'm Beck and here's a little bit about me! Anything to do with the Arts, I'm in! I love dancing, acting, singing, playing piano, drawing, painting and crocheting and hope to get into WAAPA to study screen performance. I also love games from Uno to Minecraft, I'm always open to new things and experiences. I love to learn whether that be about a topic or about a person, I'm all ears. I'd like to say I'm funny and I love to use comedy to get through tough situations where people might be frustrated or even just to brighten someone's day. I would love to get to know both you and your child and help your child reach their potential and become confident in all areas of life! I strongly believe that positivity and encouragement from a teacher, parent or role model will help the student become confident in themselves and their abilities. I will always listen to what the student needs and what the parents are concerned about. I'm never judgemental on living situations or learning difficulties as I know that everyone has their own struggles.
I take pride in my active listening, intelligence, empathy, patience and compassion and have worked with kids/teens for approximately 6 years. I have also worked with kids that have special needs such as Autism and ADHD so, I know how much patience and guidance they need in order to succeed. I graduated high school at the top in 4/5 of my classes, including mathematics essentials and I earnt a City of Swan community award as well as a SCASA award for my grades and certificates throughout senior school.

- She picked up all of the concepts of time pretty fast and was able to figure out when events started and ended with minimal help - She easily finished a worksheet about whole numbers and understood greater than , less than and equal to very quickly - She can do some times tables relatively fast and with accuracy (1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 11)
- She struggles with using A.M and P.M accurately especially when finding a starting time or ending time - She started to gain momentum on her 9 times tables but still struggled with the 4 times tables - She lacks confidence and can sometimes forget the process or where she got up to in her working out

- He struggled to understand how we work backwards and how to find x using opposite operations and given numbers - He also lacks confidence when giving his answers and often tries to change his answer when he hasnβt been told whether itβs right or wrong immediately

- Having the blocks as a visual really helped her understand and figure out her times tables faster so we will be using those more often - She was starting to understand how to simplify even fractions by slowing dividing them by two
- She needs a bit of help doing her times tables faster and mental math for simple addition and subtraction - We also need to work on her division skills and when to use division in an equation
- She started to understand how to solve perimeter and area with two sides of the shape given - She understood BIMDAS and BODMAS pretty easily
- She started to understand how to solve perimeter and area with two sides of the shape given - She understood BIMDAS and BODMAS pretty easily
- She struggled a fair bit on finding a missing number in algebra especially when given negative numbers. She had difficulties remembering to work backwards and struggled to find the opposite operation that was needed to solve the equations. - She does struggle with focusing while working and can tend to repeat herself when talking rather than moving onto the next step. Because she loses focus, she then forgets what she did in the previous step and we have to start again - She also struggled a bit with some simple mental maths of addition and subtraction. She tends to use her fingers to count and will still get an incorrect answer
