What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I think that I would enjoy seeing the growth that my students show as a result of both their own effort and my help. This seems very rewarding as a variety of students with different backgrounds and need seek tutoring and show results specific to them. This would feel particularly rewarding after having creating a connection with the student, as it would allow me to understand how meaningful the growth is to them. The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is tailor their lessons to the student's learning styles. For example, while a tutor may prefer to teach visually, a student may learn best by verbal explanations, so it is important for a tutor to put the needs of the student before their own and show adaptability in doing so. Additionally, a tutor can only allow their student to succeed by making them feel appreciated and accomplished in their learning.
