He is currently studying a Bachelor of Science with a focus on Mechatronics Engineering, so he works with maths and logical thinking every day. This tutor helps students see how classroom maths connects to real problems, such as robotics and programming, making abstract ideas more concrete and engaging for primary and high school learners.
Leadership and Coaching Skills that Translate into Clear Explanations
Lachlan has hands-on coaching experience from training new team members in a busy workplace, where he learned to explain tasks step by step to people starting from scratch. He has also held leadership roles in Scouts and school-based cadets, guiding younger peers and planning activities. These experiences mean he is patient, organised and able to adjust explanations to different ability levels, which is especially valuable for students who may be anxious about Maths or need concepts broken down carefully.
