What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to pass on my knowledge to my students and integrate key skills which can allow them to break down hard concepts. Watching the moment when something clicks in the students mind showing and realising that a student has grown more knowledgable thanks to my guidance is incredibly rewarding. Further, seeing a student's test results improve, even if it isn't considered a 'high' result makes me overjoyed. I also love creating friendly bonds with students and understanding their motives, it drives me to make sure they realise their true capabilities and achieve their passions.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My main strength as a tutor is my ability to break down difficult concepts for students into steps and skills that they can use and adapt in tests. I take pride in developing a bond with my student which allows me to understand their thinking and skills, defining the style and pace that I teach at. Hence, flexibility and patience are skills that I have developed and use to ensure that my students regardless of ability and talent are able to flourish under my guidance. I love relating with my students and making myself approachable rather than intimidating, so that they ask questions and learn.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

In my opinion, the most valuable thing a tutor can do for a student is help them improve in their subject by a margin that satisfies them. I believe that simply having strong knowledge is not enough, but being able to pass on this knowledge to the students not only so that they understand but also can execute it in exam conditions is something that is vital in tutoring. I consider the students' abilties and potential and think that formulating plans and creating structure for the student to adopt is a solid method at ensuring a students growth, given that the student can sustain the workload.
