Passionate primary and secondary maths tutor
Hello:) My name is Katrina and i'm currently completing my bachelors of science at the University of Melbourne. As someone who has experienced tutoring others and being tutored by others in the past at a variety of levels, i am familiar with how hard finding a good maths tutor can can be. As a math tutor myself i strive to be a tutor who can not only explain and assist your child with math concepts they find challenging, i also aim to be a mentor who can help your child become the best learner they can be.
Volunteer Tutor Who Goes the Extra Mile
As part of a youth leadership program, Katrina volunteered as a maths tutor for younger students, showing a genuine commitment to helping kids succeed. She designed colourful posters and visual aids to explain topics like fractions and algebra, making abstract ideas more concrete and memorable. This tutor understands that every child learns differently and adapts her explanations and resources accordingly, which is especially helpful for students who struggle with traditional textbook methods.
