What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really enjoy proofreading assignments and helping students with developing study techniques for exams. Additionally, I aim to help them to avoid mistakes I have made in the past, and guide them to excel in their studies, both exams and assignments.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that I am patient when explaining things, and can explain study material in different ways if the student struggles to understand it. I also believe I myself have the knowledge and skills necessary for a tutor, as I excelled in my schooling, receiving many Academic Awards throughout Secondary School. I think one of my strengths is that I have a lot of empathy, so I'm able to understand when students are struggling with grasping a certain concept, as I myself have certainly experienced the many challenges that may come with learning new material. I believe my empathy allows me to better relate to students and be more eager to help them overcome their challenges. Another of my strengths is my organisation, as I am very detail-orientated and love making study plans, which will help me to guide students with preparing for exams and meeting deadlines.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to help them improve their study skills and thus their grades. This can be done through being patient, thorough, and understanding when explaining study material and assisting students.

About Behta
Academic Excellence
Behta consistently achieved high marks throughout her schooling, receiving an A grade in all six of her subjects in Year 12, across the year. Additionally, Behta consistently received Academic Awards every semester of secondary school and Subject Prize Awards in 2022, 2023 and 2024, for English, Modern History and Chinese. Behta's other subjects consisted of Psychology, Legal Studies and Maths, which she also excelled in.
In 2026, Behta will commence studying a Bachelor of Advanced Humanities at The University of Queensland, in which she will further study English Literature, History, and Law.
Leadership and Extra-Curricular
Outside of her studies, Behta actively participated in the School Band, the Drama club and the Environmental Club, which developed her versatility, organisation and leadership skills, and demonstrates her ability to connect with students beyond academics. Furthermore, serving as the Year 12 Sustainability Captain strengthened her teamwork and communication skills.
Relatable Approach
With a background as a full-time student balancing studies, extra-curriculars and other responsibilities, Behta understands the pressures many students face in today's society. This allows her to bring empathy to every session, and understanding for students overwhelmed by their workload. In addition, in times of difficulty, Behta always encourages students to not give up and continue working hard, as she herself, has faced challenges in her own learning over the years, so she understand how it feels. Therefore, Behta will not only assist students in learning new content and developing effective study skills, but she will also guide them in having a positive mindset and the persistence to suceed.
