About Elloise

Early school leaver who understands today’s classrooms

Elloise is a recent high school graduate who still remembers exactly what it feels like to sit in a classroom, face tricky homework and juggle deadlines. This helps her connect quickly with primary and secondary students, especially those who feel nervous asking questions. She uses her own recent study habits to show students how to break tasks into small, achievable steps, and she explains ideas in clear, everyday language rather than textbook jargon.

Strong communication and calm, childfriendly presence

Through her experience working in busy, familyfocused environments, Elloise has spent many hours talking with children of different ages, helping them feel comfortable and engaged. She is used to managing multiple demands at once, staying calm and patient even when things are hectic. This tutor brings that same steady, friendly manner to sessions, creating a space where students feel safe to make mistakes, try again and build confidence in their own abilities.

Creative, organised and focused on building confidence

Outside of work, Elloise enjoys crafts, reading and basketball, and she weaves these interests into lessons to make learning more relatable. She might turn a maths problem into a basketball scoring challenge or use a favourite story to practise reading and comprehension skills. Her strong timemanagement skills mean sessions are wellstructured, with a clear plan and small goals to celebrate along the way, helping students see real progress and feel proud of their efforts.
