What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Despite having no formal tutoring experience, I used to help my classmates and friends when preparing for exams and honestly, being able to help other people do well is the most satisfying part, knowing that I am able to help other people with areas of concern, knowing that I went through the same thing of needing guidance through the content. Additionally, as a previous student that underwent tutoring, what I most enjoyed about it was having that piece of mind that I was getting that extra practice in for up coming exams and further developing my skills.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have an open mindset which allows me to meet every student and being able to not judge them based on their ability. I am friendly and approachable which would allow me to establish a good relationship with the student. I have a strong work ethic, meaning if theres a topic that I need to revise in order to teach my student, I would revise the content at home before going to the student, to make sure the student is getting the most out of the session.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Aside for the tutor to be skilled in the subject they are teaching, I additionally think it's really important for the tutor to establish a good and non judgemental relationship with the student and the parents. This allows clear communication and it gives the students courage to be able to ask questions without the fear of being judged in doing so. Being able to establish a good relationship with the student makes the tutoring process a lot easier on the student as well as for the tutor, and allows the tutor to be able to adapt in order to suit the needs of the student.

About Natalie
Strong Academic Foundation in Maths, Science and Writing
Natalie is currently studying Civil and Environmental Engineering at university, giving her a solid grounding in maths, problem solving and scientific thinking that flows directly into her tutoring. At school, she consistently ranked near the top of her year in Chemistry and Geography and achieved an ATAR in the high 80s. This tutor is well placed to support primary and high school students who need clear explanations in maths, science and written work, as well as help with study skills and exam preparation.
Organised, Reliable and Great with Young People
Through her pharmacy role, Natalie has developed excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and organised under pressure – all crucial qualities in a tutor. She has also volunteered in community programs, including preparing meals for people in need and helping run a raffle that raised thousands of dollars. These experiences show that she can connect with a wide range of people, follow through on commitments and create a supportive, structured learning environment.
Sporty, Motivated and Able to Engage Different Personalities
Natalie is a keen sportsperson, having represented her school in netball, tennis, cricket and several other sports, and has received awards for goodwill and contributions to sport. She understands goal-setting, practice routines and how to encourage persistence when skills feel challenging. She also brings fun personal interests—like aviation, streetwear and music—into her sessions to build rapport, especially with reluctant learners. This tutor uses real-life examples and students’ own interests to make maths and English feel relevant and enjoyable.
