I think I’m a patient tutor. I think that mistakes are an inherent part to learning so understanding why mistakes are made and working past them in a calm, encouraging way is something I am good at. I also would say that I am good at adapting to a student’s level or speed at a subject and I’m able to see what they need and match it.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to improve their confidence in their own ability. Especially in weaker students, being able to increase their confidence through encouragement and improvement also enables a pathway into enjoying the subject more and therefore putting in more effort, initiating a postive feedback loop.
