What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students gain confidence in their learning and realise their own potential. I find it especially rewarding when a student moves from feeling unsure to understanding a concept clearly and being able to apply it independently. Supporting students to excel academically and believe in their abilities is what motivates me most.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My key strengths as a tutor are structured lesson planning and clear communication. Having achieved a 98+ ATAR, I understand what effective study strategies look like and how to break complex concepts into simple, logical steps. I plan sessions with clear goals, adapt explanations to suit each student, and ensure they leave every lesson feeling confident about what theyβve learned.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important things I can do for a student are to make them feel heard, supported, and capable. I aim to create a safe learning environment where students are comfortable asking questions, while also encouraging them to think independently and develop problem-solving skills. I believe the best outcomes come from balancing guidance with challenge, so students grow in both confidence and ability.

About Bardia
High-achieving maths specialist with strong IB background
Bardia is an International Baccalaureate graduate who studied advanced Mathematics, Economics and Business at higher level, alongside Physics and English. This gives him a deep understanding of the maths and problem-solving skills needed from upper primary through to senior high school. He has already tutored Year 8 students in mathematics, helping with classwork, homework and assessment preparation, and has seen their confidence and results improve through clear explanations and step-by-step reasoning.
Proven mentor and school leader who connects with students
As a former deputy school captain, this tutor regularly led assemblies, coordinated student initiatives and mentored younger students, so he is very comfortable working with children and teens. He has also coached an under-10 girlsβ soccer team, breaking skills into simple, achievable steps and building teamwork and confidence. These experiences shape his tutoring style: structured but friendly, encouraging students to ask questions and feel proud of their progress.
Clear communicator with a calm, organised approach
Bardia brings strong communication and time-management skills from balancing demanding study with leadership roles, sport and music. He is fluent in English and Farsi and proficient in Spanish, which helps him explain ideas in different ways and relate to students from diverse backgrounds. Whether supporting a student who is anxious about maths or extending one who wants a challenge, this tutor focuses on practical strategies, exam-style practice and building real problem-solving skills.
