What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy working with children to build their knowledge and improve their results. It is immensely satisfying for me to watch students' progress over time and achieve their best. I believe that any student is able to reach their goals if they are given the right support and guidance.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strength is empathy. I can put myself in the students' shoes and understand the things that might be holding them back from reaching their potential. It also means that I can explain concepts in a way that is easier to interpret for a younger person, rather than just going over the textbook definition. I am articulate and clear in my communication, to ensure that the student understands me and feels comfortable asking questions.

The most important thing a tutor does for a student is helping them become more confident, so that they have faith in their own abilities and performance. This starts by simplifying the content and explaining it in a way that the student can understand, then building this up so they can face the hardest of questions. It is about equipping them with critical and logical thinking so that they can not only do well in school, but in everyday life as well. Tutors can realise how a student learns and use this to construct the best approach to teaching, something that is impossible for a teacher to do for every student in the classroom.
