What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

There's a certain satisfaction in seeing a gradual understanding of a topic emerge, where the understanding might not have been there before. That always comforts me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think that my strengths as a tutor are these: I've shown that I can be patient (not least because I need patience as a school crossing supervisor); and I speak very clearly in lucid English, so that the chances of meaning being misperceived are greatly reduced.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important things which a tutor can do for a student are these: to stress the need for forward planning and for regular timetables; to encourage where necessary; to break down large tasks into manageable portions; and to clarify hitherto obscure matters.
