What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐Ÿ˜

The most enjoyable part would definitely be when my student and I finally click, when I am able to establish a connection and Im able to help them better, adapt to them and build them into better students.

My Strengths as Tutor ๐Ÿ’ช

One of my key strengths as a tutor is helping students leave each session feeling more confident and motivated. I am patient, persistent, and deeply invested in my students progress. My strong foundation in STEM, especially math and physics, allows me to teach concepts in multiple ways and adapt my approach to fit each student's learning style.

Most important things I can do for a student ๐Ÿ…

A tutor must be able to build a students confidence, and not a dependence. For instance, lets say in physics, rather than teaching a student to memorise formula or answer, a good tutor will ensure the student understands the subject and how to apply it. This mindset is extremely crucial to building student confidence, and it stays in memory much longer than answer based learning. I am dedicated to teaching my students in this way, and knowing ezymath and I share these values makes me eager to begin tutoring students as soon as possible.

About Shaunak

Introduction to who I am :)

Hey

What I can do for your child

With a Bachelor of Science in progress and top results in university-level computing subjects, Shaunak brings a logical, step-by-step approach to problem solving that suits Maths and senior Science tutoring. He has built projects such as a physics simulation of a high-speed train concept and an investigation into how storage conditions affect medicines, so he can show students how formulas and theories apply in real life. His experience analysing artificial intelligence systems also helps him teach students to think critically, not just memorise.

Motivated Mentor and Engaging Communicator

Beyond academics, this tutor has led major school initiatives, including coordinating a large charity run and carnival that raised significant funds, managing a team of students and communicating with different groups. He has also taken the lead in an environmental team organising regular beach clean-ups, designing posters to inspire others. These experiences mean he is comfortable guiding younger students, keeping them on track, and making sessions interactive. Shaunakโ€™s interests in music, technology and sport help him build rapport and tailor explanations to each studentโ€™s interests.
