Maximus is a high-achieving first-year university student studying a double degree in Chemical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Science, built on an ATAR in the top 10% of students. This strong academic background means he understands secondary school Maths and Science content in depth and can clearly explain complex ideas in simple steps. He is particularly confident helping students break down tricky problem-solving questions, showing them how to move from basic skills to exam-style questions with structure and confidence.
Proven Leadership and Communication with Young Learners
Maximus has hands-on experience working with children through volunteering at a kindergarten, where he helped entertain children, de-escalate disputes, and maintain a calm, organised environment. As a school music captain, he regularly led groups, communicated with staff and students, and balanced multiple responsibilities. These experiences mean he is patient, organised and able to adapt his explanations to different personalities, helping both quieter and more energetic students stay focused and engaged in lessons.
