What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy the process of tutoring and how it can strengthen a studentβs understanding of concepts they may struggle or be unfamiliar with. Even in my past experiences as a tutor, I find it really rewarding to see when my students gain competency and confidence in new skills.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think my strengths are in explaining concepts in a simplified and structured manner to students, and readily answering any questions they may have. Further, I feel as though I am quick to finding new and unique ways of explaining skills if students are having difficulty understanding initially.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I truly believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to be approachable and supportive, so as to create an environment where the student will always feel comfortable seeking assistance and resolving their questions. Also, I think it is equally important that the tutor creates a systematic plan where they balance both teaching and practice, ensuring that the student has the time and opportunity to be able to apply the skills they are learning independently.
