Understanding that no 2 students are the same. Every student is very different and has different methods of learning. Through questioning and perhaps trial and error, it's important for the tutor to decipher what method works best for the student, what the students' weaknesses and strengths are, and use such information to create a tailored tutoring plan for the student.
