What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Understanding how a student thinks, then breaking things down in a way that works specifically for them and watching their confidence grow. My proudest moment was seeing a student go from barely passing to consistent Bs and As within a year, while dealing with serious family difficulties. That kind of impact stays with a student long after the lessons end, and that's what motivates me most.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My biggest strength is quickly understanding what makes a particular student tick. Their learning style, the kinds of connections and analogies that resonate with them, and what kind of encouragement they respond to. Within a few sessions, I adapt my entire approach around the individual. One of my students was a passionate football fan who found Maths abstract and unengaging. Once I started framing concepts through football examples, he grasped things that had confused him for months.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Building confidence so a student tells themselves "I can do this if I try." But equally, making sure that confidence never stops them from asking for help when stuck. Both matter. Beyond that, earning the student's trust comes first. A student who trusts their tutor stops hiding confusion and starts engaging honestly. That is when real learning happens and results follow.
