What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Seeing improvement in the people I tutor. I love that moment of realisation, when after a lot of thinking, hard work, explanation, and practise questions, the person you are tutoring finally understands the topic and it clicks in their mind. Being part of that process and watching their confidence grow is very rewarding for me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that i am a good tutor because of my ability to explain complicated and difficult concepts clearly and logically, through breaking down complex ideas into steps that suit the student's level of understanding. I am patient and quick thinking, and can change the way we approach a problem for a new, fresh outlook on the topic if something isn't making sense. I also focus on building strong study habits and core understanding of topics to ensure that they are not relying on memorisation and actually understand the content.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Build the right learning environment and ensure that the student is building their confidence and truly understands the material to allow them to solve a larger variety of problems. I think a good tutor should have the ability to carefully listen to why or how the student doesn't understand the concept, and guide them step by step until it makes sense.

As he is actively working through advanced coursework in mathematics, physics, and engineering, and has developed a strong and fundamental understanding of these concepts which means he understands first-hand how concepts can be tricky for students, and how to simplify and break them down into easier, and more understandable ideas.
