I love teaching and helping others learn. I am studying my Bachelor of Education so tutoring allows me to gain more experience and grow in my teaching ability.

### My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am quite knowledgeable in certain areas (I received awards for the highest score in Business Studies and Economics in grade 12) and I am studying to become a teacher so I have experience in that regard.

### Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Went WellSophia is getting better at factorisation and plotting fractions on a number line. She is able to divide number lines from 0 - 1 into equal parts according to the denominator and can mostly choose the correct line to plot the fraction. She is beginning to recognise that fractions are less than a whole.

Needs ImprovementMore plotting fractions on a number line would be ideal as well as some refreshers of past fraction concepts we've covered as Sophia needed reminding of how to convert an improper fraction into a mixed number when placing it on a number line.

Went WellAva's understanding of noun groups is improving. She was also able to successfully use all of her 0 - 5 multiplication rules and complete several questions on her test.

Needs ImprovementMore practice with multiplication would be ideal so we can start going past just the 0 - 5 times table rules.

Went WellAshlee is doing very well at using show-don't-tell in her writing - she is creative and uses descriptive language. She is also back to improving with her multiplication.

Needs ImprovementI'm not 100% sure what Ashlee is covering in class at the moment - she has mentioned fractions so I briefly covered simplifying fractions with her but it seemed like a new concept to her. I may need to try and contact her teacher.

Went WellSophia can confidently say all of her multiplication rules. She is also improving at using factors to simplify fractions and did very well with her homework. Sophia is also consistently able to use arrays to solve division questions when she does not know another way.

Needs ImprovementMore practice placing fractions on a number line would be good. Perhaps adding manipulatives or something more visual as this is the third time we've covered it and she's not quite remembering what to do. More division practice using her knowledge of multiplication would also be good.
