Tutoring is a rewarding job where I am able to make a difference in students lives. Through tutoring, I am given the opportunity to change how one views learning. As a tutor, I believe the most important things I can do for a student is to provide a comfortable and engaging learning environment and to adjust learning techniques to cater to students. This means showing that mistakes are okay as this indicates that learning is possible. Since not all students learn content in the same way, tutors must be able to cater to each student, adjusting techniques in order to help students understand content to the fullest.
