What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping students realise their own potential when it comes to academic potential. I also enjoy revealing to students the beauty and utility of mathematics, which then hopefully provides added motivation towards their studies.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I aim to try and understand how each student learns and why it is they learn the way that they do. This is important as when I'm teaching, I'm then able to construct the knowledge based on each student's prior understanding. In addition, I aim to be extremely patient and tolerant with each student. I do this to ensure each student feels comfortable making mistakes which is crucial to the learning process.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe a tutor can help a student realise their own academic potential, which in turn helps them build a stronger sense of self-efficacy in regard to academic endeavours. This confidence can be the foundation needed for students to go ahead and pursue future career goals. In addition, tutors can be the extra added motivation needed for students to build effective study habits which translates to the rest of their academic careers.
