What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to help students with something I struggled with before. As someone who understands their position and how they probably feel as a highschool student when everything is so new and overwhelming

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm very patient and I try my best to be understanding as I've worked for an in-class assistant for another school, and the students tend to come from very different backgrounds. They often struggled with English and the ability to phrase their thoughts as well as usually learned different skill sets compared to what you have in Australia or any more Western educational system. Still, they want to learn and are trying their best so it's important to be able to accommodate and work around these struggles and with enough time and patience they've been able to improve amazingly.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

It's important that a tutor can put themselves in their students shoes while teaching. Teaching others can be very frustrating, especially when they can't understand it the first time around but that isn't their fault. They are also trying hard and for most people, it takes one or two times to wrap their head around something they can't grasp and if it takes more, that's alright too. They can't help it and it's important that you let them take their time with understanding and support them every step of the way.
