About Seamus

Strong academic foundation in Maths and Science

Seamus is currently studying a Bachelor of Science, building on a very strong high school record where he accelerated in Advanced Maths and achieved results in the top band. This tutor understands the pressure of exams and selective assessments and can clearly explain tricky concepts in a way that makes sense to students. With a solid grasp of both Maths and Science, he can support learners who need help catching up, as well as those aiming for top marks in high school.

Inclusive coaching and clear communication

Through his role as a trainer in an allabilities soccer program, Seamus has hands-on experience guiding young people of different ages and needs. He regularly communicated with participants, families, and support staff to create a safe, encouraging environment and to adapt activities so everyone could succeed. This experience translates directly into his tutoring: he is comfortable breaking tasks into manageable steps, adjusting explanations on the spot, and checking that students genuinely understand, not just memorise.

Patient, organised support tailored to each student

Seamus brings strong organisational skills from managing busy roles where he had to juggle competing tasks while staying calm and attentive. In tutoring sessions, this means lessons are well planned, time is used efficiently, and students know exactly what they are working towards. He listens carefully to each student’s goals, then builds a step-by-step plan, whether that’s strengthening Maths basics, boosting confidence before tests, or extending more advanced learners who want extra challenge.
