What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the subjects I teach very fervently and, as much as I love being a medical student, my degree no longer challenges me within these disciplines that I teach. Also, I was always a people's person and I love imparting unique methods of teaching and allowing others to see the appeal of subjects they oftentimes just see as hurdles to pass. I tutored since year 8 all the way until my first year of university, and I think it is time that I take up that passion again!My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I will eventually teach him to be more precise and concise, but for now, it is understandable and I have been using it in our favour i.e. to get him engaged in the content.

Ethan misses the forest for the trees. He often stares too long at trees and misses the intent/essence of questions. I will learn to redirect him more. Also, he finds it difficult to grasp metaphors.

He liked the pie / pizza chart we drew for the parts of speech and was able to paint elaborate narrative pertinent to each part of speech. I encourage him to decorate his speech and reinforce and reaffirm the importance in the ability to describe a subject acutely.
He sometimes hyper-fixates on narratives and inadvertently evades answering questions. I will attempt to give him algorithmic flows to answering particular questions. I will make sure it does not erase his love for prosody and speech.

He is able to identify and create correct association when asked with questions, but at times the correct words elude him. We will work in cementing them in his memory; it is a matter of repetition. I have no doubt that he will be okay and take it on board.
