What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the subjects I teach very fervently and, as much as I love being a medical student, my degree no longer challenges me within these disciplines that I teach. Also, I was always a people's person and I love imparting unique methods of teaching and allowing others to see the appeal of subjects they oftentimes just see as hurdles to pass. I tutored since year 8 all the way until my first year of university, and I think it is time that I take up that passion again!
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am incredibly patient, thorough, empathetic, and I like to understand my students and cater to their style. Learning is a unique journey and tutors should treat it as such.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is show up and show care and interest in the student. Once that happens, you will be able to see what the student is capable of and what and how they can take from the subject.

I now know what Ethan knows and does not know about clauses, parts of speech, and completing a proper sentence. He was very cooperative, and thanks to his enthusiasm, I’m keen to cover the gaps with him on our next lesson.
He recalls definitions quite well and creatively; however, he sometimes tends to narrate when asked a simple question.
