What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students build confidence and realise their potential. I find it really rewarding to adapt my explanations in creative ways to suit different learning styles. My favourite thing is when something that once felt impossible for a student suddenly clicks. Seeing that moment of understanding and growth is incredibly motivating. I also value the one-on-one nature of tutoring, as it allows me to build strong relationships with students, understand them as individuals, and tailor my approach to support both their learning and confidence.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My key strengths as a tutor are my communication skills and my ability to explain concepts clearly and in multiple ways. With over eight years of tutoring experience both in-person and online, I have developed a flexible communication style that allows me to adapt explanations to suit different learning needs and levels of understanding.
I am also approachable, friendly, and a strong listener, which helps me build trust-based relationships with my students. I create a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is build a student's confidence and belief in their own ability. Most students are capable; they just need someone who recognises their potential, supports them, and helps them see it for themselves.
