What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

When I started tutoring, I initially just helped my peers and juniors with the knowledge I possessed in the subjects I taught. Helping my peers achieve their academic goals with my help gave me a sense of happiness and accomplishment. That feeling has lingered with me through the years and it is still one of the most enjoyable parts of tutoring for me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am someone who understands that not everyone learns the same way. Some people can grasp concepts through verbal discussions, while some require a sense of connection with real-world examples and some are more visual in their learning processes. Understanding this has helped me cater my teaching methods while teaching different students in the past and has always proven to be effective for me. I always remind myself that everyone's learning process does not follow the same path and so I try my best to curate and cater my lesson plans and my teaching methods by understanding my students needs.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is being patient with them and creating a safe space for them to feel free to ask questions and to be curious without having to feel judged or have their questions be perceived as "dumb". I strongly encourage all my students to ask me as many questions as they need to about the concepts I teach them as it helps them build confidence and become comfortable dealing with the subject.
