What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students grow in confidence and realise they are capable of achieving more than they initially believed. It is rewarding to watch a student progress from struggling with a concept to understanding it and applying it independently. I also enjoy building positive relationships with students and making learning a more enjoyable and less stressful experience.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are my patience, adaptability, and ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way. I tailor my teaching to each student's learning style and encourage them to think critically rather than memorise information. My background in Biomedical Science has strengthened my analytical thinking, problem-solving, organisation, and time management skills, allowing me to provide structured and effective support while helping students become more confident and independent learners.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important role of a tutor is to build a student's confidence while helping them develop a genuine understanding of the subject. A good tutor should create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. It is also important to adapt teaching methods to suit each student's individual learning style, encourage independent learning, and provide consistent guidance and constructive feedback. Ultimately, a tutor should not only help students achieve good academic results but also equip them with the confidence.
