What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy teaching math as it has been my favourite subject since primary school and I feel a sense of pride and satisfaction when I successfully teach a concept to my previously confused students.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strength is that I am patient and understanding of students, which is important as students will make mistakes sometimes. Instead of lashing out at them, a better method would be to go through the steps again to refresh their memory and let them try the question again. Although math is my best subject, I understand that many find it challenging so I hope I can make them enjoy math more. Of course, there are times when I have to be strict, for example, homework submission. Another strength is that I can break down complex questions down into simple steps to make it easier to understand.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I feel that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them in any way they can, whether to build confidence in a topic, correct their careless mistakes, or practice exam questions with them. Every child learn differently so it is important to adapt to their needs so that they can learn more efficiently.
