What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The enjoyment of tutoring for me would be when I get to see finally understanding the concept and can do the problem on their own. I find it quite fun interacting and talking with children.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my strength as tutor would be my adaptability and that I'm quite perseverant when it comes to making the children understand the concept rather than just giving the answer. I remember my little sister just wanted to give me the answer to her math homework but I persistently and patiently taught her the concept through an example, made her understand it, and gave a her a few problems to solve on her own.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Other than understanding the concept rather than giving the answer, I think having learning as an enjoyable experience rather than being pressured or not having room for mistakes is important. I want children to not feel pressured when they get the answer wrong because making mistakes will always have a learning opportunity for improvement and it really kills the joy in learning. I believe children need who really love a subject really excel in it. Though I can't make them 100% like it but at least I can make learning fun with a bit of games or snacks if permitted.
