What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love tutoring as it is satisfying seeing a student's confidence grow and watching them adapt their learning. The collective "oh, that makes a lot of sense" from students upon understanding a concept isn't just rewarding; it's exhilarating. I also enjoy crafting new ways the same concept can be taught and tailoring my approach to each student's need.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, some of my strengths include:
Diverse experience and adaptability: 4+ years tutoring math to ages 13–16 across CBSE, GCSE, and GCE A-Levels, developing a versatile methodology for explaining complex concepts.
Patient & Empathetic Approach: Special needs community service taught me that student frustration stems from a lack of understanding, sharpening my ability to simplify math concisely.
Academic Excellence: Achieved straight A*s in A-Level math, followed on by my Aerospace Engineering studies which require high skilfulness in advanced math.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To me, one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is build the student's confidence to tackle questions on their own without feeling nervous. Along with that, it is also important that a tutor is able to translate complex ideas into simple concepts, esnuring that students feel empowered rather than overwhelmed.
