What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to pass on knowledge I have learnt from other tutors, teachers and mentors in my life in order to benefit my students. Moreover I enjoy being able to teach students in a more engaging, interesting and hopefully fun way compared to their teaching at school.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think I will be able to help students organise themselves with study habits which may be crucial to learning or grasping new concepts. Secondly I think having had many tutors over the course of year 11 and 12 I know what I would have liked to have heard or been told to do by my tutors and so I hope to apply that experience to benefit students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the tutor should aim to not just teach the subject or concept, but provide alternative ways to think, conceptualise and learn said concepts. Ideally, a tutor can spark a passion or enjoyment in a new area by teaching it in a way that really connects to their unique student. I think being able to create habits where the student looks forward to learning something or has a genuine interest in a new topic is one of if not the most crucial thing.
