What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy helping students build confidence and seeing them gradually become more independent in solving problems. I also enjoy simplifying difficult Mathematics and Science concepts into smaller understandable steps.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe my strengths are clear communication, structured problem-solving and the ability to simplify difficult concepts into smaller understandable steps. My strong academic background (High Distinction in Engineering), and corporate engineering experience has also strengthened my analytical thinking and subject knowledge in Mathematics and Science.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe one of the most important things a tutor can do is build a studentβs confidence and adapt lessons to their learning style. For example, I often use practical examples such as real-life applications of forces and motion (e.g. seat belts in car) in Physics to help students better understand difficult concepts rather than relying only on formulas.

About Sayed Mohammed
Academic Excellence
I am a Graduate Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a strong academic record, including High Distinctions and the Medibank Next Gen Award. I specialise in Mathematics, Physics and Science, and enjoy helping students develop both understanding and confidence.
Real-World Learning
As a professional engineer, I regularly apply mathematics, physics and problem-solving in real projects. I enjoy connecting classroom concepts to practical examples, helping students see how what they learn is relevant beyond school.
Supportive & Personalised Tutoring
My approach is patient, structured and tailored to each student. Whether a student is aiming to improve confidence, strengthen foundations or achieve top grades, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions.
