What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students build confidence in their abilities. I find it rewarding to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense and to see a student progress from feeling unsure to understanding and solving problems independently. I also enjoy creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills. As someone who has always enjoyed mathematics, I find satisfaction in sharing that enthusiasm and helping others achieve their academic goals.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are my patience and ability to connect with students. Through my customer service experience, I have developed strong communication skills and learned how to explain information clearly and calmly. As an Engineering and Commerce student, I have a solid understanding of mathematics and problem-solving, and I enjoy breaking complex questions into simple, manageable steps. I am also encouraging and supportive, helping students build confidence in their abilities rather than just memorising solutions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important things a tutor can do are to be patient, supportive, and adaptable. Every student learns differently, so it's important to understand their strengths and challenges and tailor lessons accordingly. A tutor should help students understand the reasoning behind concepts, not just memorise solutions, while also encouraging them and celebrating their progress. This helps students become more confident, independent learners both inside and outside the classroom.
