What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping students build confidence and seeing the moment when a difficult concept finally makes sense to them. I started tutoring through my volunteer work with Nirmaan at BITS Pilani, where I taught mathematics and science to underprivileged students. I'm also starting tutoring for UNSW Marketing students in quantitative subjects. For me, the most rewarding part is helping students improve their understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My key strengths are my strong mathematical background, clear communication, and patience. I hold an MSc in Mathematics from BITS Pilani and am currently pursuing a Master of Data Science at UNSW. Through teaching and mentoring experiences, I've learned how to explain concepts in simple ways and adapt my approach to different students. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help a student become confident and independent in their learning. While improving grades is important, a good tutor should also help students understand concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and feel comfortable asking questions. A tutor should be patient, adapt to the student's learning style, and create a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process. Ultimately, the goal is to help students build the confidence and skills they need to succeed on their own.
