What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

While I don't have any formal tutoring experience, I am excited by the prospect of helping to develop students' analytical ability and confidence within themselves. Throughout my studies, I have developed a strong love for learning; I know I have the capacity to share this with others to help them feel truly excited about study. Seeing other's joy for learning is what excites me the most. I think education is one of, if not the most important, investment we can make in our future. By improving our collective education, we can make better decisions for ourselves, each other and the planet.

I think my strengths lie in my capacity to relate to others. I believe this skill, with the knowledge from my studies, would make me an excellent tutor. I am confident that the relationship between student and tutor is the most important aspect of learning. I know I am highly capable of making learning complex concepts engaging and rewarding.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

In primary school, I was told I was no good at maths. Now, having completed my Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, I know that the key motivator in my success was my own self-belief. I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help build confidence. When a student realises their own potential, and understands that they are truly capable, there is no limit to the success they can achieve. I firmly believe that every student is capable of excellence, given discipline, practice, and self-belief. I would absolutely love to give students the confidence to achieve their visions.
