What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is making students understand a topic that they initially found difficult and after we go through it together they finally realise that they can solve similar problems on their own, thats what i enjoy the most about tutoring.
Additionally, being a university student teaching students helps me to reinforce what i have studies or iβm currently studying. So, as tutoring is a job that benefits the student as well as me I genuinely enjoy it.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe my main strengths as a tutor are my patience, communication skills, and ability to adapt to different studentsβ learning styles. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on identifying their challenges and explaining concepts in a simple and clear way.
I enjoy breaking down difficult topics into smaller steps and creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions. One of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me is seeing a student gain confidence and understand something they previously found challenging.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where they feel confident asking questions and making mistakes.
Students learn best when they do not feel judged and are encouraged to explore their understanding. As a tutor, I think it is important to be patient, listen to their concerns, and help them see mistakes as opportunities to improve rather than something negative.
By building trust and confidence, a tutor can help students not only understand the subject better but also develop the confidence and motivation
