I think the most important thing a tutor can do is build a student’s confidence. When a student believes they’re capable, their results naturally improve. It’s also really important to explain concepts in a way that actually makes sense to that student, not just repeat what the textbook says. Every student learns differently, so adapting your approach matters. Lastly, creating a supportive and comfortable environment is key.
