What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most is that moment when something finally clicks for a student, especially when it's a concept they've been struggling with for a while. I studied Architecture for five years, so I spent a lot of time explaining technical, sometimes tricky concepts to classmates and later to colleagues during my internship. There's something really rewarding about breaking a hard idea down into simple steps and watching someone go from confused to confident. It's genuinely motivating for me to see that shift.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'd say my biggest strength is being patient and student-centric. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so I try to adapt how I explain things depending on how the student learns best. I'm also a strong communicator, I'm fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu, which helps me connect with students from different backgrounds. And because of my architecture and project management background, I'm comfortable with maths, physics, and structured problem-solving, so I can explain the "why" behind things, not just the steps.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing is making a student feel comfortable enough to ask questions, even the ones that feel "silly." A lot of learning gets blocked by students feeling embarrassed that they don't understand something. Beyond that, I think it's important to be reliable and well-prepared, showing up ready and consistent builds trust. And really, meeting the student where they're at rather than where you expect them to be, that's what actually helps them improve.
