What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring allows me to see the confidence a student develops as they start making academic progress. This is my favourite part of tutoring, as I enjoy helping students reach their full potential and become more confident in their learning and flourish in their academic achievements.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my main strengths as a tutor is my patience. I understand that every student learns at a different pace, so I am willing to explain concepts in different ways until they feel confident. I also have strong communication skills, so I can build a safe environment where students feel comfortable reaching out about their learning difficulties and set goals to help them improve.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do are to be patient, explain the learning clearly, adapt to the student’s learning style, and build their confidence by giving them positive affirmations and words of encouragement even when they make mistakes, to help them be braver when trying again. A good tutor should also identify where the student is struggling, give useful feedback, and help them become independent in their learning without fully relying on the tutor for answers.
