What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I personally enjoyed the interactions I have with students, and seeing how to best adjust to their learning. With my previous students, I found it really rewarding when they are able to learn something new and to grasp concepts that they initially found difficult.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I can break concepts down to an understandable scale, according to the level of the students. Usually, I try to connect them to their materials by centering around an area they are already familiar with.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Beyond providing knowledge, I believe a tutor can give good study habits for the students and personalized feedback that they can look back on in the long run. For me, tutoring was also the experience of learning and being able to train my understanding beyond just grasping the subject material.

About Terry
Tutoring Experience
During my previous tutoring work, I was able to help up to 18 students, ranging from 4th grade all the way to 10th. Though I mostly cater to Maths and Science, I have been flexible and open to teaching English, Indonesian, and Civics.
Academic Experience
I was one of the top scorers among my cohort from 4th to 12th grade. While doing the International Baccaleaureate curriculum, I took Math AA, Physics, and Chemistry as my higher level subjects, and English A and Indonesian A as some of my standard level subjects. I have also participated in multiple Mathematics Olympiad, receiving silver and bronze medals in the World Mathematics Invitational and American Mathematics Olympiad.
