What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The aspect of tutoring I'd enjoy most is seeing students finally understand a concept and be able to apply it to real questions and exercises, especially when you get to see the realization hit them and they start to understand what these things mean.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my strengths as a tutor include my love of learning; I enjoy learning new things very much and always enjoy exploring new topics, and I love being able to help others understand new things so that they learn as well. I also reckon another strength of mine is the ability to break down complex concepts and explain it at a level someone would understand, and then build up until that person can understand the concept overall and its complexity. I have sometimes applied this; for instance, I showed a friend how to find the integral of a polynomial equation; looks complex but actually easy.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to help the student understand concepts and ideas they have been struggling with. Especially in maths, where everything is very logical, some things very much appear complicated, but once you understand it, it is very simple to apply, so a great tutor should be able to guide a student through this process of understanding so that the student knows what is going on and can see and enjoy that simplicity themselves, and potentially reach a level of understanding and confidence where they can now explain that idea back to you or to others.
