What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My favourite thing about being a tutor is watching students finally understand a concept, and watching all other distractions fade away, where they're so focused on helping themselves, and being able to get the students to a stage where they want to help themselves.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are definitley my confidence, and communication skills. I think as a tutor I really connect with students, as I used to really struggle at school, both academically and mentally before getting a tutor, and I think a lot of teachers I've had, have an inability to see how their students don't understand something. Because of that experience, I understand how frustrating it can be when something is explained in a way that simply does not make sense to you. Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think a tutor can provide a new lens for the student within the subject. Doing all our learning in the same system, at the same school, helps to create routine, which can be great for lots of students, however, I think a lot of students get disheartened and, especially in developing years, need much more one on one help, being able to create an environment where the student feels like they can make mistakes, and has this environment outside their school to ask questions, not feel shame, and carry different responsibilities then other students.
