What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy interacting with children the most as I believe they deserve attentive care towards their education. Their boundless energy is worth channeling into academic pursuits and I enjoy being there to support healthy futures for them. I am very passionate about giving children the best foundations for life and am always considering how this can be achieved.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As children are the most impressionable demographic it is important to engage to engage with them in a warm and fun manner. Implicit learning under the guise of a fun time is the most effective way to teach children and I believe I can bring that to each session. With my experience as the oldest family member, I have applied this tactic to my many cousins who have varying degrees of capabilities and neurodivergences and am met with success each time. My personal experience as a child was especially informative to this method as I found this was my favourite way to learn.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing to achieve as a tutor is providing a safe space where kids are comfortable to ask questions and confident they will not be judged for it. I have encountered many tutors in the past that act like they hate kids and none have been conducive to my academic or personal growth. It is crucial to know that you shouldn't be made to feel embarrassed or less than, especially by a teacher.
