What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most satisfying feeling is knowing that your student's gained an appreciation for what you teach and is able to overcome the weaknesses that they initially had. A student's success is also the mentor's and that's even more true, the bigger the challenge.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think that I can understand people pretty well. I'm able to establish a rapport with students and relate to them on a personal level. I understand what disappoints them, what encourages them to do their best, and what techniques work for them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Each student is unique and a common mistake for tutors is to keep using the same lessons for all students. The best thing one can do is to cater each lesson to the person. These include where they are in their studies in conjunction with the identity of the student. Mentors should try to incorporate as much of the student's life with the lessons so that rather than learning lessons and memorizing techniques, it fosters a yearning for knowledge and growth because they feel important to that student.
