What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love the thrill I feel when I learn something new. It's so exciting! Without fail I want to share it; I want others to experience the satisfaction of understanding. That "lightbulb moment" is one of the things that makes life worth living to me and helping others to experience it is similarly rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm still young and remember how I learnt things. I'm quite adept at ice skating but struggle to teach my friends because I've been doing it since I was 4. I don't understand how I do it, it's natural. Maths, English, Japanese and Physics on the other hand - these are things I remember first not understanding and then actually learning how to do. I empathise with those that still don't understand and can help them take that step.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Help them want to learn. There will always be kids who want to understand and desperately struggle to, but it is my opinion that the majority of people are capable of understanding and just aren't interested in it. I remember feeling that way about a lot of my school subjects - I still feel that way about some of my college units - but I have gained a genuine love for Maths, English and Japanese because of special teachers in my life that were so passionate about their subjects. I can offer my students the same.
