What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing the improvement in the students' abilities and that their confidence and marks increase over time.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I try to teach students to fully understand the concept, instead of just teaching them to remember and apply formulas. I will always take my time and never become angry at the students and I will always go out of my way to ensure that they truly learn a concept (even if it means teaching beyond the time boundaries of the lesson). I have a sound knowledge of all the components of Maths (up to Extension 1 level) and have learnt many easy methods of completing questions that I can pass on to the students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Firstly, a tutor must be kind and caring of the student's situation, and must be able to quickly determine the best method of teaching for that particular student. Only then can the tutor raise the motivation and enthusiasm of the student which is crucial in allowing them to learn at the optimum level. Once they are learning at this level, their marks and confidence will dramatically increase and they will enjoy the subject more.
